Caroline Dunford

Biography

At five Caroline announced to the world she wanted to be a writer. She has been a journalist, an archery coach, a voice actor and a qualified psychotherapist before finally taking up writing as a real job. She has had over 30 short stories published, mostly fantasy and horror, won a few awards, written the best selling non fiction narrative How to Survive the Terrible Twos; diary of a mother under siege, launched the crime series The Euphemia Martins Mysteries, had several plays produced and is currently writer in residence with Edinburgh Theatre Company, Siege Perilous. She has won mentorship by both the Scottish Book Trust and The Playwrights Studio, Scotland, and is now a popular mentor and workshop tutor herself.
Caroline finds it difficult to spell without a word processor, is an unashamed science fiction fan, has more books than shelves, lives with three men (two sons and one partner), thinks housework is something no one will ever remember you for and is currently at work on some YA fantasy, a couple of plays, a teaching course and whatever else crops up/or into her head since this was written.
