- Sail Beyond Tomorrow
on Feb. 18, 2012
I just finished Sail. I may be biased, but I think it is a great work. Both my grandparents passed several years ago and both had Alz. In the end, the passing was good for both of them. And now, it appears my father is starting with the same thing. Your writing in this story is touching and very down to earth with problems and issues facing people today with that illness. The passion between Richard and Susan is astounding and emotions of the issues are so true with men's personalities. I complement you on a well thought out and delivered story.
In several books I have recently read, there seems to be a trend in passionate romance between men and women and women and women. We are so busy in today's world with jobs, kids and having a life, I think people have forgotten what real passion in a romance should be like. Your book, has captured that passion and I think really true thinking between men and women.
Thanks for a really great story!
- Whispers of a Legend, Part Four- Time of the Nuxvenom
on Feb. 25, 2013
The novel is heartbreaking. A forbidden love, a betrayal, being forced to do not what you want but something that screams against everything you have ever hoped for. And then doing what you cannot imagine for the sake of "duty."
Carrie has captured all of this in the 4th book of this series. The graphic images are incredible, you will cry with rage and the unfairness, but understand why things have to be. There are some graphic scenes in the chapters that are violent and sex filled. It fits in the story line and is appropriate. I am hoping for the 5th book to be even better!!!
