Charisse Howard

Biography

Charisse Howard's love of romantic landscapes, characters, and stories comes from having family on both sides of the Mason-Dixon Line and ancestors on both sides of the Atlantic. After pestering her parents for a horse since age three, she started riding at eight, and writing around the same time. Her full-length romantic suspense novel "Dark Horseman" brings those two favorite pastimes together, along with her deep affection for the Blue Ridge Mountains, Monticello, and the Virginia horse country. Her curiosity about the world of Jane Austen led her to launch the spicy "Regency Rakes & Rebels" series of alphabetical novellas, starting with "Lady Annabelle's Abduction," which is also her first audiobook.
