Charles Rice-Gonzalez


Biography

Charles Rice-Gonzalez (co-editor)was born in Puerto Rico and reared in the Bronx, is a writer, long-time community and LGBT activist and Executive Director of BAAD! The Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance. He received an MFA in Creative Writing from Goddard College.

Charlie Vázquez (co-editor) is a radical Bronx-bred writer of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent. His fiction, articles, and essays have been published in various anthologies, magazines and newspapers and he hosts a monthly reading series called HISPANIC PANIC! (in the East Village), which focuses on original queer Latino literature.
