I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It has a vampire romance, twilight, House of Night, kind of vibe to it although the author doesn't use supernatural creatures but instead gives the main characters (who are ancient descendants of different factions throughout history) supernatural inherited abilities which they must use to basically kill the opposing faction. Despite everything the book proves to be a wild romance novel where boyfriends occasionally mistake girlfriends as being their mortal enemies and thus try to kill them... what a hell of a way to break up.The book mainly takes place at a High School which as you might imagine gets nearly destroyed in the warfare. I recommend this book to anyone really... It's also a pretty clean book which means I wouldn't be worried to let my kids read it.
