Corina Koch MacLeod
Corina Koch MacLeod is a literacy practitioner, teacher, writer, editor and online instructor at the Faculty of Education, Queen's University. She holds a Master of Education degree from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Education from The University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts in English from McMaster University. She established a tutoring program at the Queen’s Faculty of Education for students who struggled with reading, writing, math, and science, and a summer reading camp for struggling readers in the early elementary grades. She has written and edited curriculum materials for the Ontario Ministry of Education, conducted reading workshops for parents and teachers, designed a social skills program for students with ASD, ADHD and/or LD, and co-authored several books about teaching reading and writing. Most recently she has worked with students with dyslexia using Orton-Gillingham-based teaching methods.
