David A Parrish

Agent info

David in his own words is an experimental writer willing to change topics at a drop of a hat. Here we have a not a professional education, or experience in the paid writing genes. Yet his published work has appeared in the former student newspaper the Informer at Community College of the Finger Lakes [now called Finger Lakes Community College] in Canandaigua, New York. David's articles were for the business students mainly as he was the only one connected to that department on the paper staff. David covered a raft race he, and four fellow students were in as well. The raft race article was well received, and was talked about for quite sometime afterwards.

David's next writing under taking was a a series of three articles on President Abraham Lincoln for the Ontario County Historical Society and Museum. The articles appeared in the Chronicles in connection to the Smithsonian national tour of Lincoln death mask tour.

The last note worthy non-published works appeared in a few Art Show's in The Arts Council of Ontario County, NY in the form of poem's. A few of those poems were on Shoe's, and a number of others you can find in the Smashwords e-book titled Holiday's A Collection of Poems.

  • Christmas Magic on Dec. 12, 2015

A Christmas book like no other. A rare gem in a world filled with Christmas books on so many topics. Their is only one poem in this unique e-book that reminds us the living that we can not forget those who we have lost along the way, and that was covered before the start of the poem. The poem itself is a kind of Christmas card meet for all not discriminating against any one in the entire world. A true genius in the ability to write in a true belief of the season with out being an advertisement. When I wrote my holiday book of poems I went against some of the the Christmas Magic. I now wish I had done my e-book like Mr. John Dappert did. Congratulations on a book so creative, and supporting of the Christmas meaning. Thank you David Parrish Author of Holiday's a Collection of Poems

  • The Abduction of Ebenezer Scrooge on Dec. 27, 2015

The Abduction of Ebenezer Scrooge is a short story that I was not expecting, but I enjoyed every moment of reading this version of Ebenezer Scrooge. To me it made more sense than all the other stories. Thought at the same time the other stories are classics, and so are the movies. I would love to see this one turned into a full length movie. Lawrence Watt-Evans I can not say anymore with out giving your book away. However if there was a rating higher then five stars I would give this take a 9.99% rating as they use on cleaning products related to killing germs. Please take note to anyone who thinks this story is lacking you do not know a gifted author.
