Love it!! I read it in one sitting. The beginning was a bit hard to follow at first, but it was a true page turner. I'm hooked now and downloaded the all the Vanessa series, plus Time Snap and Hell Rise. Looking forward to many hours of enjoyable reading. Thanks Dr. Dave!

Enjoyed the further adventures of the Family! I truly feel as though I know them. All of the references to real places around the area makes it all the more interesting.
  • Vanessa - All Heaven Breaks Loose on April 30, 2013

I just finished this book - as with the first two of the Vanessa series - another page turner. It was very fascinating on so many levels (including shades of people I personally know) and truly scary on others. I just downloaded Mended Harps; I can't wait to start reading it!

Just finished reading this one and can't wait to start Fallen Colors. I have a feeling I will want to talk the author into doing some more with the Vanessa series. It is totally fascinating, intriguing and rivetting. I don't want to stop reading these books once I start them. :)

I enjoyed the Vanessa series so very much. Thanks Dr. Dave! I was hoping there would be a way for more books to be written about the Family ... but alas, all good things must come to and end. Now it is on to Time Snap. I'm anticipating another page turner. :)

    A mere sliver of a story. :)
  • Graduation Day on June 24, 2013

This is a very touching and poignant story. Especially so if you work in education. I am going to recommend it be read by all the educators I know. It has many sections that could be used in our Anti-Bullying programs. I also recommend you have some tissues at hand ... I certainly needed them! Loved so many of the points made in this book - Thanks Dr. Dave for stating them so well!

I loved this series of stories about Sam and Elsie! They are a sweet couple and story is very touching. I so wish there were more people like Sam and Elsie among us - they certainly made the world around them a better place. I would advise you have a tissue at hand for this read. This definitely was another winner Dr. Dave. :)

  • Bootscootin' and Cozy Cash Mysteries Boxed Set (Books 1-6) on Aug. 04, 2013

I enjoyed the first Bootscootin book very much, so I purchased the whole set. They were a fun read. Although misinformation about certain aspects in some of the stories, and improper grammar usage, was a bit disturbing.
  • Switch Child 2 on Aug. 07, 2013

Another delightful read by the good Dr. I so enjoy the way he makes the character so very real - not matter how unusual and unique the story line is. It is also so pleasurable to have stories that continue on into a series. You get to know and enjoy the characters and then there is always the possibility of Doc throwing in one of his unique twists. Whenever I finish one of his books, I always want there to be more. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
