Michelle was born in Wirksworth, Derbyshire at the beginning of December 1964. As the first-born of three children, and the fifth living generation in a local mining family she hit the news early, appearing in the Derbyshire Times for her mother’s efforts.
In recent times a more stable lifestyle has allowed her to follow jobs better in line with her character. She spent a number of years working as a Door Supervisor at public houses and night clubs, trying out different ways of keeping fit – such as kick boxing and gym work - she likes to do things girls don’t normally do and she loves a challenge.
In the last few years she has been writing down ideas for this and other books and after a nine-month spell working at a school decided to take a year off work to finally produce her first book Deadlier... than the Male.
A number of years later, a few rejection slips under her belt and as much determination as ever, Deadlier... is about to be joined by Cruel... and Unusual in the Werewolf series. These will be followed by Blood... on the Moon later this year.
She lives in the heart of Sherwood Forest.
Dusty the Demon Hunter is on another adventure. She encounters the legendary Shudder Sisters from Norse mythology, known as the Norns. The Shudder Sisters, the foundation for witches and witchcraft throughout mythology everywhere, have tracked her down using spells and enchantments. What is their purpose and what does Dusty do about the situation?
Dusty is a teenage girl, as normal as any of her friends... the Dryads, Faeries, Nymphs, Angels, Cherubs and half-demons like her.
She has a dark past, her mother was killed by a Demon and now she is protecting herself in case that Demon comes back for her.
In the meantime Dusty travels from this world to the Astral Plane and her adventures are legendary... amongst her friends at least.
Dusty is removed from the world and has no idea why.
She is thrown in amongst goblins, cacodemons and other nasties. She has to think her way out and even then she has other trials to overcome.
In her 6th adventure, Dusty meets the most powerful Demon she has ever met and who is behind her trials and tribulations this time? Read and find out.
Dusty's fifth adventure.
Hunter is puzzled, Dusty’s not well and getting worse, but each time he sees her, it’s like she’s a different person. One minute she’s the same feisty girl he’s used to and the next, she’s a flirtatious thief!
Split personality or something far more sinister?
Red is back again, she has a few riots to deal with, a nest of Throwbacks running feral, a traitor returned from the dead and to top it off, her Lycaeon thinks she would serve Wolfkind best in London. There’s the added problem of a five hundred year phenomena to contend with and Red may have a rival for her position as Sentinel Exemplar. Just another average day then...
Jack the Ripper
Victorian London and in a very short time, the inhabitants of the slums of Whitechapel will find that they have a bigger worry than the usual deprivation, disease and crime.
There's a killer in town but not just any killer, he likes tearing his victims apart, feeling their terror as well as their entrails!
Jack The Ripper is his adopted nickname and he certainly lives up to it!
Something is disturbing Dusty’s sleep and she wants to know what – or who – it is.
A vampire wants her help – it seems odd that such a powerful being should need the help of a half-demon but Dusty is curious and she and Hunter make preparations for their safety before going along with the plan.
Dusty soon realises that when dealing with vampires, it’s best to stay alert and at a safe distance.
Dusty and the Harpies:
Dusty’s second adventure tells how she encounters mythical beasts who are trying to force her best friend’s cousin to commit suicide. She has to confront the beasts and drive them away but to do that, she must travel across the astral plane with the help of her friend Hunter and negotiate with the Ferryman in order to cross the River Styx safely.
‘DEADLIER... than the male’ is set in Sherwood Forest, England and takes the reader into a dark and dangerous world where Werewolves not only exist, but exist alongside humans – undetectable until just before the human becomes the victim.
Werewolves do exist and they exist alongside our society, they have their own rules and hierarchy, they hide in plain sight and have done for millennia.
