Submitted on behalf of Olive Etchells: I found this eighties-set thriller to be a compelling read, fast-paced and intriguing.It tells of a single mother - cool, successful career woman Karen Standish – whose baby is stolen. The twists and turns of the plot, the gradual revealing of Karen’s softer side and the presence of a tough but warm-hearted detective, make this a book to be treasured.
