Calmer: Medical Events with Cognitively Impaired Children on April 16, 2012

Wow. What a fantastic real life read. We too have a son with MPS II Hunters, and I have already taken some of the advice from Calmer, and adapted around our son with all the medical appointments we attend it really helped all of us be that little more calmer. What I love most about this book is how real Melissa has been. All of these strategies are interchangeable to each situation you are in and prove to work, by putting the work in you really do see results. This I kinda already knew, but Melissa's book just really helped me mould my own way and helped me remember how much of a learning curve life is. This book now sits on my book shelf and my family will refer to it as and when we need to. Thank you Melissa.
