Biography

Danielle Pepe lives in Hobe Sound Fl. with her daughter and Blue Heeler Syrus. When she is not writing she is playing mom. Her obsessions are coffee and curling up on the couch with a good book or having a glass of wine with good friends. She is currently working on book 2 of the Guardian series and trying her hand at romance.

When did you first start writing?
I started writing as a child, but it wasn't until my 20's did I write a full length novel.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My story follows the journey of a young girl. At 16 years old Alikye has spent her life fulfilling her destiny as a Guardian, an angel hybrid sworn to protect mankind. When the council realizes the threat Alikye becomes with her recklessness and hatred for humans, they send her off to Florida for eight months living a normal life. Through her journey, Alikye finds friendship and love and the truth about herself. But when her real word and fantasy world both collide into a disastrous fight between life and death, it's up to Alikye to save her friends and in turn save herself.
