If you are looking for a quick, hot, sexy read with two characters that will make you feel good all over in more ways then one then I highly recommend that you read Katie Salidas' House of Immortal Pleasures. I have been wanting to read this book for a long time because the title and the summary really peaked my interest and I have to say I was very pleased. Let's face it. I have been wanting to read this book for a long time because the title and the summary really peaked my interest and I have to say I was very pleased. Let's face it. A story about a young woman who has been heartbroken and betrayed being taken blindfold by her two girlfriends to a vampire brothel. With the various possibilities in mind, how can you not want to read this? As I mentioned, Daphne is blindfolded and forced to go to this den of pleasure in the middle of nowhere by her girlfriends to help her get over her ex-boyfriend, who she caught cheating on her. He was her first and she always felt slightly insecure in her ability to please him. I must say it wasn't her fault by the description of her ex he sounded like a jerk. Not only did she feel betrayed, but her self-esteem plummeted and she felt she couldn't open up to another man again. Her girlfriends what her to get "back in the saddle … and quick, before you get old and rusty." You can just picture in your mind this playing out and right away you know this is going to be fun. Conner is forced to be a sex slave because of a mistake he did ten years ago and working at the House of Immortal Pleasures is his punishment. He has accepted his fate and is known to be the best in the house. When I mean he accepted his fate I mean that he regrets what happened and vows never to let something like that happen again and realizes that this punishment is a means to make sure it never does. This does not mean that he enjoys it. Just that instead of mopping around he would learn from the experience. There are so many good qualities in Conner that you like him right away. Not only is he physically attractive, but he has a good heart and shows tenderness and compassion. When Daphne and Connor end up in his room of pleasure Connor starts off with his usual tactics to make Daphne feel at ease. Daphne wants no part of this. She is nervous, hesitant and most of all doesn't think she can give herself to a man again completely or make him feel aroused. Yes the ex really did a good job making her feel she was lousy in bed. Connor tries to relax Daphne and can sense that she has a good heart about herself. Once he looks into her mind to find out why she is so hesitant the knowledge affects him deeply. At this point Connor he really cares about Daphne's well-being. What happens next as you can image are some hot, steamy sex scenes, but also sweet, tender moments where both confide in each other their deepest doubts and hopes. What happens next you will have to read. It will leave you wanting more. It is a very quick read, but one that you will revisit over and over again whenever you want to put a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. 5 Stars

Pain, isolation, and loneliness is what Natalia has endured for the past 800 years, forced to live an existence where only death and revenge are her driving life force. After so much time has past it may take a tall, muscular, alpha werewolf to throw her off track and make her take a closer look at what it means to live an immortal life. Natalia is known as The Huntress and has become notorious for her ability to kill her targets in the supernatural world that there is even a bounty on her head. Despite all the centuries of killing it has not been able to help heal her heart at the past wrongs that have been inflicted upon her. Since her turning she has keep herself isolated because of shame and fear of what she had become until she allowed her heart to open up to another. The betrayal that she suffered made her promise to never allow another into her heart until Cristian. Cristian didn't know what to expect when he captures the beautiful vampire that has him intrigued and has captured his heart. This alpha werewolf, also a park ranger, finds himself curious about this vampire and before he knows it he has partnered himself with her to hunt a serial killer in their midst. I really enjoyed this book not only for the hot, steamy scenes (who could resist a gorgeous 6'6” alpha werewolf built like a Greek God) but also for the emotional connection that the two developed despite their differences. Both have endured traumatic past events and it is Cristian who is able to move on, but Natalia cannot seem to let go. I love how Cristian felt the attraction for Natalia and didn't let the fact she is a vampire from stopping him. The banter that occurred between them and Natalia's refusal to give into her feelings made me laugh out loud at times and at the same time want to smack her across her head for being so stubborn. I have read the other books in this series and this has been the best one to date. Paranormal romance readers who definitely have a thing for hunky werewolves will enjoy this one. I am looking forward to reading the next one in the series that comes out, Destiny Bewitched.

OMG I had this on my Kindle for quite some time and I could kick myself for not reading it sooner! What I expected to be a story about about 3 ex-military guys who decide to open a BDSM club was a 1000% time more then what I expected. It is an amazing story about three men and what brought them together and the development of the characters had me hook right from the beginning. I LOVE THE SERIES WITH ALL MY HEART AND I LOVE MASTER ADAM AND DAMIAN!!! There is so much going on I really don't know where to begin. First off, this book introduces us to each of the men with their own story in parts. We meet Master Adam and his story had me reaching for tissues as we discover a Marine (Master Sergeant) who demonstrates loyalty, faithfulness, dedication, caring, and a protective nature that had me wanting to reach out and hold him in my arms to take away his pain. In his story we don't see any erotic scenes but see a very, sexy, alpha Dom who is always willing to take care of others even if it means making sacrifices to himself including protecting a young, teenaged runaway on a cold Thanksgiving night in a Chicago bus terminal. Not only does he save the girl from danger she in a way saves Adam from himself. We meet Damian who is trying hard to move on with his life after a rough start and has finally find a place for himself. That is until a beautiful young woman looks his way and touches his heart and he see her inner beauty and hurt. Circumstances throw the two together where they escape to their own little paradise for a day where nothing and no one bad can touch them, but the moment is fleeting and leaves the reader aching. Marc seems to have it all, extremely good-looking, rich, successful and can have any woman he wants, but because of a broken trust cannot allow himself to get close to anyone again. The trust not only destroyed his chances of truly loving anyone again it destroyed him as well and has guilt eating him away. Never feeling that he could live up to his family's expectations and the feeling of suffocation he joins the Navy to have a sense of purpose (he becomes a Navy medical corpsman for the Marines). What occurs next in the story is how the three come together and the terror of war that puts their trust in each other and the development a bond that can never be broken. After each goes through their own horrors they get together after coming out of the Marines to start a BDSM club that saves them from their own demons and becomes their lifeline. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!! You have to read this book first before preceding to read the next one as it gives you a fantastic understanding of each character's personality. These characters are so HIGHLY developed that they become real and ALIVE to the reader. You feel that they are standing right beside you as you live the experiences with them (Mmmm would love to be standing beside Master Adam and rubbing my hands up his chest and broad shoulders and ummm, yes right, back to the review, sorry). :) Just make sure you have the other books ready to read next as you will not want to wait a second longer to read Nobody's Angel (book #2) and Master Marc's story.
