Biography

A semi-retired accountant, Master Herbalist, author and witch, Deborah J. “DJ” Martin is both a fiction and non-fiction writer.

She abandoned frozen Minnesota many moons ago and now lives in the woods of the southern Appalachian Mountains with her husband, three cats and numerous woodland creatures.

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Goodness. Only five? And...what genre are we talking about? What mood am I in? Let's talk about authors, instead. In the fantasy genre, I am a huge fan of J.R.R. Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Jim Butcher, Linda Wisdom, and Jennifer Estep among others.
What do you read for pleasure?
Mostly either fantasy of one form or another, or spy novels.
