Denise Sallee

Biography

During my first job interview at the age of 18 I was asked "What do you enjoy doing?" I answered "Read!" and I was laughed right out of the interviewer's office. Apparently, according to this man, I would never be paid to read. Well, I have worked very hard for many years to prove that man wrong! I've owned a bookstore, I am a professional librarian and archivist, and now I am an author! I am a recent transplant to Ireland - living my dream and working on several creative projects. I have stories to tell, whether it be through words or through images. I believe in and practice magic and magic in its many forms will be found in my books and visual art. My first novel "Daughters of Time" is available as an e-book. Reviews can be seen at Amazon. The story was inspired by my great-grandmother and two of her ancestors!
