Suddenly, eighteen days before her wedding, Lynne is having doubts about her relationship with Adam. They've been together for three years, but she is beginning to feel that she doesn't love him anymore. Is it all because of her dreams? You see, Lynne has been dreaming of a man who tells her that she's making a mistake; that if she goes through with her marriage, her soul mate will die. When she tells her best friend about her dreams and her changed feelings, Sandra assures her it's just cold feet - pre-wedding jitters. So, Lynne goes through with the wedding. And her life goes from bad to worse. Until, one day, she finds herself following Adam and catches him kissing someone else. Devastated, she cries herself to sleep and the man in her dreams takes her back to before Adam's proposal. With the knowledge of what had happened, can Lynne change her future? Is her life fated to end the same way? Or is it all a dream? ~*~*~ There is a lot happening in this book - romance, mystery, and just a touch of the supernatural. A great combination, in my opinion. The beginning is a little slow and repetitive. Lynne's emotional turmoil is addressed, over and over, until you want to slap her. But, then, everything changes and you have to wonder if the stress is what caused the dreams. Or if the dreams were the catalyst for the change. It's a fascinating premise, with Lynne running around trying to make better choices with her second chance. Some things are different and some seem to be fated. The guy from her past is just scary creepy. And his mother ... wow! I have to say, it felt as though the ending was a bit rushed, given all the time we'd spent with Lynne and her problems in the beginning. Perhaps, shortening the lead-up and stretching the last few chapters a bit would have made everything seem a bit more balanced. Some of the characters were rather flat; I would have liked a bit more development for Sandra and, even, Adam. With that said, I really enjoyed the story and am glad the author gave me the opportunity to read and share it.
