While Devina may have graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in microbiology, she started writing several years ago when working the graveyard shift at her first job out of college afforded her the luxury of writing. With little else to do but stare blankly at the computer screen, a short email telling a friend about the previous evening’s World Series game and her new favorite baseball player slowly unfurled into a 300-something page novel. That one novel launched both her writing career and a love of baseball.
Since then she has completed four contemporary romance novels: What a Catch, Pitcher Perfect, It Won’t Be Like This For Long (a quarterfinalist for Amazon’s 2009 Breakthrough Novel Award,) and, most recently, All The Little Pieces.
She has been a member of the RWA since 2009 and has been active in the San Francisco Area chapter, judging several contests.
She grew up in Half Moon Bay, California, and since college has also lived in Massachusetts and Oregon. Currently, she splits time between San Francisco and California’s Central Coast with her husband, Matt and flat-coated retriever, Burton. When she’s not writing, however, she enjoys rooting for her beloved Yankees, taking her dog to the beach and sailing.

It Won't Be Like This For Long
While often surrounded by the most desirable men in professional sports, columnist Erin Taylor would be considered one of the most sought after free agents on the market if she weren't engaged. When she meets Jake Marquez, a smoldering hot fireman whose allure defies reason and he decides to turn up the heat on their ostensibly platonic relationship, will they both be playing with fire?
All The Little Pieces
Having barely survived a car accident two years ago, fashion magazine editor Lauren Tinsdale can’t remember her past. Ray Butler, the new man in her life, would give anything to forget his.
Recently dumped by one of baseball’s biggest names, Alyssa Reid has struck out in love once again. While her ex may have turned her life upside down, it isn't until a twist of fate causes Alex Whitfield, her ex-boyfriend’s best friend and teammate, to move into her spare bedroom that she’ll see what it’s like to really be thrown a major league curveball.
What A Catch
At the top of his game, professional athlete Scott Miller may be the catch of a lifetime, but can his new girlfriend, Alyssa Reid, a relative no one, survive the dating big leagues?
