Ég er þýðandi þessarar bókar. Í október á síðasta ári fór ég til Saint Luis í Kentucky í heimsókn til móðursystur minnar. Þar keypti ég Kindle og byrjaði að lesa rafrænar bækur. Ég varð yfir mig hrifin og það opnaðist fyrir mér nýr heimur, heimur rafrænna bóka.

Ég hef alltaf lesið mikið og í fyrsta skipti á ævinni var ég að byrja að þreytast í augunum af lestri venjulegra bóka, mér fannst letrið stundum vera of smátt og glampi frá ljósi þreytti mig.

Kindle gerir manni kleyft að breyta leturgerð og minnka og stækka letrið. Upplausnin í Kindle er líka notaleg fyrir augun.

Ég tók eftir því að meira og minna allar rafrænar bækur voru á ensku og fannst vera algjör skortur á rafrænum bókum á íslensku.

Ég komst í samband við Brian S. Pratt, hafði verið að lesa bækurnar hans, ég elska góðar ævintýrabækur. Ég fékk leyfi hans til þess að þýða bækurnar hans. Nú er fyrsta bók Morcyth sögu komin út á íslensku og fleiri eru væntanlegar, ein eftir aðra.

  Sorry Brian that I did not write a rewiew before. Of course this book is brilliant. I felt it from the start but never put it down in writing. I feel, but have problems in expressing my feelings in writing, especially if it is not in my own language. I translated this book into Icelandic because of that. I wanted to share with other people in my country the message that there is hope for a better world if we just belive in it. It just takes one person to begin with and then it spreads, maybe it takes some time but eventualy it does. (review of free book)
