A Vampire in the Vatican 'Brotherhood of the Sword'
on Dec. 04, 2013
This author was recommended to me as I'm not much of a book reader.
I found it a good story. I liked the Inspector and his off sider Franco. Full of surprises. Didn't get bored at any time which is what I like in a book.
Easy to read and a terrific ending.
It was a pleasure.
The Pardon

Written simply like a screenplay (no bog down) this made it thoroughly enjoyable to read from start to finish.
Great story too.
The Hall of Condiments

Got to be the stupidist book I've ever read. I agree with W. Addison Gast and I found it near impossible to follow.
The cover sucked me in. Bad mistake on my part.
Pulchritudinous Book 1
on Feb. 02, 2014
This is a wonderful book for children. I even enjoyed it myself and to find a 'teaser' to book 2 at the end was an added bonus. Book2 I feel will be just as much a pleasure to read as the first book.
Poor Puck, he really gets into unhappy situations when the rabbit Lepus is around. I have no doubt he will show more caution from now on when he sees that rabbit. lol.
Can't wait for book 2.
That Moment...

What a wonderful collection of true short stories. I agree with the other reviewers, it definitely gets you thinking. C.C.Champagne is a very special person and like so many others I am pleased that she has shared these experiences with us.
I had to read it in one sitting too :)
Symbol of the Order

Well written and thought provoking story. I thoroughly enjoyed this short 'Templar' read.
Pulchritudinous Book 2
on July 15, 2014
Our family have been waiting patiently for book 2 in the Pulchritudinous series and once again the author has given us a delightful story. The boy Puck has found himself in more trouble which he has caused himself but the wizard is being very tolerant of the situation. He goes on a journey where he learns more things about the world around him.
I always love the interaction he has with his best friend Willow.
The pictures once again are great and as Kevin Fontain said, the last picture is wonderful.
I highly recommend this series for young and old.
Beware.....The Moon is Full

Linda writes a variety of flash fiction and this one is great.
True horror. Well written. Short and sweet.
A good ending which is difficult to do with such a short flash.
Well done.
I enjoyed it.

Nun with a Gun
on July 15, 2015
Another wonderful mystery story that I found easy to read. I don't read many books as I'd rather see the movie but a Vampire in the Vatican and Nun with a Gun was a pleasure.
Funny, sad and quite exciting. A lot of story and a lot of mystery. Some wonderful surprises that kept me reading.
I'm enjoying this series very much and look forward to more.
The Aesinas Codex

Another exciting story in this mystery detective series.
More places and more problems for the inspector. I found it quite exciting and the surprises kept coming.
Some funny parts again which seems common in these books. Very enjoyable.
A lot of mystery and some very clever deducting by the inspector. Very easy to read and follow as it's written simply which makes it relaxing.
I like both him and Wilhelm, they work well together. Another great story and I hope and wait for another book.
