- Day of Sacrifice (Day of Sacrifice #1)
on Nov. 01, 2010
I found this novella quite an easy read. From start to end I was sucked into the story of Flora and Julian. I loved the concept of the story, something different from the usual Guardian Angel type stories. It only took me an afternoon of reading and it left me desperately wanting more. The two main characters relationship grows quite fast which only makes you love them more. Went searching for the next one to find that it comes out next year. So look out for "Rebellion" next year as I am sure it will be just as great as this one. Thanks for the chance to read your book Stacey. Great job. :D

I thoroughly enjoyed this next installment to "Day of Sacrifice". It was everything I was expecting and more.
Stacey brilliantly introduced some more characters for us to cling to and cry over when they are in danger. Instead of looking through Flora and Julian's eyes, this time we get to know two new characters that just make the storyline glisten.
Cara we briefly knew of from the first book, her son being Julian's last charge, and Abel a new Guardian that throws more excitement, love and adventure into it all.
These books are such fast reads but I totally love them. She writes the story so freely, everything flowing into each other. And now we finally get some vamps and were's included now too.
So can't wait for the next book. April can't come any quicker. :)

I really enjoyed this story. Stacey seems to have a great nack at portraying the teenage mind. Her main character isn't your typical teenager, as she starts to have visions of peoples death. With a love story thrown in, many twists and turns I would never have guessed, this book kept me hooked the whole time.
Stacey's character and setting descriptions make it easy to picture the story as you read it, pulling you along like you're living it with them. A great read, a great adventure and am eager to get into Glimmer, the next book in the series.
