Gambling - Know When To Walk Away
Price: $0.99 USD. Words: 2,800. Language: English. Published: March 17, 2011. Categories: Nonfiction » Health, wellbeing, & medicine » Reference
80-90% of adults gamble at some time in their lives. Most people gamble for fun. They hope to win, but expect to lose. Some people become problem gamblers. It often takes a crisis to motivate people to seek help – a suicide attempt, or their marriage fails, or they find themselves in the courts. It is important to offer help to people BEFORE they cross that barrier.
Drugs- High Hopes and Sudden Silences
Price: $0.99 USD. Words: 4,090. Language: English. Published: March 16, 2011. Categories: Nonfiction » Health, wellbeing, & medicine » Reference
This is a gentle book to help young people to decide whether or not to use drugs. It is not patronising or preaching. It simply tries to provide information and encourage reflection. Many young people gave ideas and input into this little book. It was checked by a psychiatrist and launched by the Minister for Health. Originally it was a pocket book with one message per page.
Grow Old DISGracefully
Price: $2.99 USD. Words: 2,430. Language: English. Published: March 9, 2011. Categories: Fiction » Humor & comedy » General
The book is a collection of sayings and messages to encourage positive ageing. The book challenges the myths and the stereotypes of ageing, which is what frightens people. Age has more to do with health and attitude than with years. Most of the messages are funny, some are also quite profound;, some are old and some are new. All of them are positive and full of hope.
Weird Stories
Price: $2.99 USD. Words: 6,370. Language: English. Published: March 4, 2011. Categories: Fiction » Fantasy » Paranormal
Most of us have had strange, uncanny experiences at some time or other in our lives - things that happened, or sights we saw that we couldn't explain. Not everything can be explained. These short stories are strange, weird and spooky. They are not truly tales of horror but they will make the reader feel a bit uncomfortable. Five of them are based on true stories.
From The Inside Out

A book of ten short stories about life and love and death and hope. All told with a rawness that is real. Stories about real people and real experiences, familiar the world over. Told in prose and poetry, from the inside out.
Let The Plover Cry
Price: $2.99 USD. Words: 4,460. Language: English. Published: February 20, 2011. Categories: Fiction » Romance » General
A simple love story woven with words of poetic prose. It describes the joy, the pain, the beauty and the tragedy of love.
STOP Suicide, Words To Hang Onto, a Book of Hope
Price: $0.99 USD. Words: 2,460. Language: English. Published: February 18, 2011. Categories: Nonfiction » Psychology » Depression
Young people often suicide on impulse. They don't really want to die, but they can't see beyond the pain of that particular moment. This book is for them. It is a collection of words and sayings to delay and hopefully prevent a suicide. All the feedback so far says that it is doing just that. Not religious or judgmental, it’s a gentle book, designed to make people feel better.
