Taming the Wild Wind
by Donita Kathleen Paul
Sent to set up a missionary school in Indian Territory (now northeast Oklahoma)in the 1830s, Ida Meade discovers her strengths. Challenged by circumstances and disappointments, she learns about her heart for God. The new Ida has doubts that she has given her heart to the right man. The wild wind of the prairie blows away old conceptions and allows her to embrace who she is and where she should go.
