Biography
DONNA MCCORD worked in the high tech industry as a marketing communications manager for over 10 years, and then as a direct marketing consultant for 5 years. Never dreaming she would be working in the automotive industry, she found herself helping her husband market his auto repair business, and when he purchased Dean’s Automotive in 2002, they decided her marketing and management experience would be an asset to the company. Because of what she learned while working with her husband, she has a strong desire to help people, especially women, learn the value of taking care of their vehicles (usually the second largest investment made after a home), and is passionate about improving the often negative perception people have concerning the automotive repair industry. Both she and her husband are most proud of their beautiful and talented daughter, Taylor, who has been an inspiration to them to help car owners keep their vehicles as safe and healthy as possible when on the road.
WARREN MCCORD’s love for the automobile began as a young boy working on cars with his dad and older brother. This eventually led to racing Formula Ford, Formula Atlantic and Formula Continental open-wheel cars in the SCCA racing circuit, winning many 1st -place trophies. After serving in the United States Air Force in Viet Nam as an airplane mechanic, he returned home to earn a degree in Computer Science, and over the next 16 years, worked in the computer field at various companies. He opened a business as Warren McCord Motorsports in 1979 and in January 2003, merged McCord Motorsports with Dean’s Foreign Car under the new business name of Dean’s Automotive. Under Warren’s leadership, and with his knowledge, experience, professionalism and ongoing education, Warren put Dean’s Automotive in the top tier of independent auto repair shops with AAA certification, ASE-certified technicians, Master Hybrid Service Technician status, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
