Doug Green is an award-winning garden author, author of 8 dead-tree books, and a 30-year veteran nurseryman growing thousands of species of specialist plants. He now owns and writes almost exclusively for 8 websites delivering over a million pages of gardening articles a month aimed at helping beginners garden better. A brand new garden and semi-retired lifestyle allows him time to garden and spend time sailing along with his writing. Insanely proud father of four and partner to a lovely woman who believes heirloom vegetables are the only true vegetables worth growing.
