Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first one I can remember was from grade 2 back in elementary school. The teacher gave everyone a blank white hard cover book and asked us to write and illustrate a story. I called mine the time machine. It was about my friend and I riding our bikes into a mysterious cave where we lost our way and found a long abandoned alien craft. We ended up accidentally triggering its time machine function, battling aliens in the future, and saving Earth from destruction before we had to return home for dinner.
What is your writing process?
Currently whenever I get an idea i write it down right away. Since I am just getting started writing seriously, I find one that will work for a short story. Then i make an outline, think about the characters I want to have in the story and start writing from a blank document. Once thats done I go back over the story several times to try and polish it and make sure its exciting to read.
