When did you first start writing?
I first started writing in fourth grade. I started a book where my friends and I were super heroes and we went around saving the day while also going through school. The chapters were never longer than a page and a half, and if I remember correctly, I had gotten to well over forty chapters--which isn't a lot. I wish I could show my first story to everybody, but I sadly have never found it again.
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book, Stray Cats, is about a girl, Ember, who is a dancer at a club. The dancers are called Stray Cats and their costumes fit the titles seeing as they have cat tales and painted on whiskers and ears--but these girls are not normal. They're werewolves. Ember meets Declan, Alpha of the Silver Creek pack, and discovers that they are mates. But Ember has never wanted a mate. She sees herself as forever independent. Different challenges come about and slowly but surely Ember has choices to make. Whether to be with her best friend Kale or her destined mate Declan is her biggest choice.
