E.L. Torrip

If you happen to be one of my readers from the early nineties, when I was signed with a large publishing house I won''t name, and writting about my military experiences as a special forces operative, then you know what to expect. Or do you? The Costigan file books I pitched to break the mold. They loved the ideas, but didn't feel comfortable publishing them. "They are too much for our readers," they explained to me. Were they talking about their readers or mine? The world has a crazy way of turning things around, now you will finally be able to make that judgement for yourself.

No stranger to some of the most dangerous streets in the world, I've shook hands with the devil himself and looked straight into the eye of evil. Then I slapped the cuffs on the son of a bitch and hoped he'd fry!

My stories are gritty and dark with characters that float to the top and find the humor in our weakest moments. Not unlike many of my closest friends, the real hero's out there that solve homicides everyday.

Money, revenge or SEX drive humans to commit murder and the evilest of them often has an appetite for all three.

If you read one of my books from the Costigan files, I have written many and am currently working to make them all available, expect to be shocked, appalled, disgusted and expect to laugh. It really is that crazy out there.
