E.L. Bates

Biography

Louise Bates Ayers (who publishes lighthearted historical fantasy as E L Bates; contemporary fiction as Louise Bates Ayers; and historical fiction as Louise Ayers) has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pencil and scrap paper. The technology might be a little more sophisticated these days, but her love for stories has only grown deeper.

When she is not writing, Louise is raising her two children, reading, quilting, or trying to capture that elusive beast named Sleep.
