This book is my favorite in the series! Nicky Charles is an excellent writer and her scenes are not pornographic. @ Suzanne Fisher to call these characters whores is absolutely wrong. It's people with a mentality like yours who set women back. In this day and age woman should be able to engage in sexual relationships with whomever and however they like wether fictional characters or real life. Obviously u had to defend your statement by saying you're not a prude. But I'm pretty sure you are by reading your review. Hopefully you will wake up one day and enjoy good writing and sex!

I absolutely loved this book, I actually read out of sequence so I had to start over with the first book The Mating, and then read The Keeping again and it was great the second time around as well. I love the entire Lycan series, it's amazing, they are all unable to put down page turners. I cannot wait for the next one!
  • Baby, Species Intervention #6609 Book One on April 05, 2013

Baby was a thrilling read! I couldn't put it down! You know the author has done her job right when you want to actually insert yourself into the novel and kill the bad guy yourself lol! I really felt for Netty, just as thing were looking up, Lady Luck decides to change course. I definitely recommend this book! A must read!
  • Echo Species Intervention #6609 on April 05, 2013

Another great installment for the Species Series! J. K. Accinni does a wonderful job portraying the world she has envisioned for this series. In Baby's book there was a character, that I wanted to reach into the book myself to set him straight, and Armoni and his trio of crazies made me want to do the same in this book. When an author can make you feel that deeply, whether its a like or dislike about a character, you know that they are very talented and have accomplished what they set out to do. Tho this series is sci-fi, there is also some touching moments in it, that in my opinion even out some of the craziness of i and make it that much better. I mean craziness in a good way lol. Great series so far, now off to read the next on, Armageddon Cometh.
  • Armageddon Cometh, Species Intervention #6609 Book Three on April 05, 2013

I loved it! Armageddon Cometh was an incredible third installment in the Species Intervention #6609 series. I'm a bit confused as to what causes the actual collapse of humanity, the Salafis or The Womb. But I guess that is what the mastermind that is J. K. Accinni was aiming for as she wrote this book. I cannot wait to read The Hive to see how it all pans out! This is an amazing series.
  • Hive, Species Intervention #6609, Book Four on April 05, 2013

What a great read! The Hive was another great installment in the Species intervention series. I have to admit I'm not big on sci-fi or alien type novels or movies but this series has definitely changed my opinion of the genre. I cannot wait to see what happens next. I'm rooting for Lorna big time! In every book there has been a character that I seriously despise, and Seth is that one for me in the Hive. So hopefully in The One, he gets what's coming to him, lol.
  • Fated Dreams (Book One In The Affinity Series) on Sep. 25, 2013

*I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review* I usually prefer to read adult novels but Fated Dreams turned out to be a really great read.Sara and Lucas are two high school students who have been dreaming of each other but have never spoke in their daily lives. When they bump into each other by accident it seems to ignite their physical connection. The dreams are a bit crazy and end in quite a violent manner but it soon becomes a reality for Liz when someone starts following and threatening her, but she is determined to not let in happen again. I really enjoyed Fated Dreams, I thought it was a great read and look forward to the next one.
