Emily Lear

Biography

The idea for Market Street came to me while I was living in New York City and working in a real estate firm in Chelsea—the things young wealthy agents do when they have access to vacant apartments in every nook of the city is inspirational! I fell in love with storytelling after graduating from Denver School of the Arts with a major in theatre and a minor in creative writing. I then headed to London where I studied Shakespeare extensively at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. I landed in New York City where I studied the soul of the character at Circle in the Square Theatre School. In Market Street,a tale of intrigue, high stakes, sex, love, and loyalty, my experiences and passion for storytelling converged and came to life.
