DeAnne Wingate

Biography

Charlotte native, DeAnne Wingate, is a former 14 year digital evangelist who left her corporate VP position at a major media company in NYC to find meaning and fulfill her true calling.

After leaving the internet advertising space in 2010, Wingate ended up in India, working with girls forced into the sex slave trade and children living in slums. She returned to the U.S. in 2012 and established a 501(c)3 charitable organization, Rippled Purpose to fight human trafficking and child labor through education. Wingate also founded Blessed Lotus, a women’s apparel company, on the principles of social entrepreneurship, to financially support her mission.
