Did Spielberg get it all wrong? Should he sack his scriptwriter? The Hundred Year Farce was, of course, the world according to Skipper. For me, Mexico was a history lesson. The remainder I couldn’t wait to see what direction we were heading in next. As an Australian, I was waiting to see if Columbus was going to sail through the Panama Canal (surely they would have built it by then) and weigh anchor in Sydney Harbour, but I was disappointed. Lenin stole the show for me; a great philosopher was Vlad Lenin. Enjoyed the novel immensely. Keep up the good work Scotty.
