Fran Pickering is a born and bred Londoner who’s spent a lot of time hanging out, and occasionally working, in Japan. She belongs to a Takarazuka fan club like the one in her book, The Cherry Blossom Murder, but so far has not come across any bodies. When not in Japan she’s usually out dancing.

She blogs about art and events in London with a Japanese connection.
