Frank Matheson, Jr

Biography

My name is Frank Matheson Jr. I've been writing for as long as I can remember and it's an addiction to me. I find myself unable to NOT produce thousands of words a day.

Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
Compulsion. For as long as I can remember, I've made up stories and legends and languages and I don't think I could stop if I wanted to. But before I started writing it felt like all the things I created just disappeared once I forgot about them, so I guess writing is just my way of retaining some of my imagination.
What do you read for pleasure?
Anything and everything.

Despite it being his first published story, J W Wright delivers in a concise package the thematic balance we've all come to expect from short stories: a focus on the emotional changes and motivations behind a character's thoughts and actions. This story thrives on its brevity. And I hope to see more from Wright soon.
