Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the early sixties in Pasadena California, I was not a good student because I daydreamed a lot and nothing in school held much interest for me, now I wish I had paid more attention in class because I'm not the best speller and my grammar is sometimes very faulty.

I recently uploaded a Proofread version of my first sci-fi adventure novel "Nomads of the Gods" the last version had a lot of grammar mistakes and typo's so I had a good friend go over it and make the proper corrections, I wish I had done this earlier but I couldn't find anyone willing to take on such a big task. I hope those how download earlier versions will go back and download the latest one, my books are FREE so no harm done and it will be a much better read.

On the plus side I was always very good artist and always got A's in that class so I spent my time drawing and racing around town in my hot rod 1957 chevy.
When did you first start writing?
As a boy I liked telling stories but I was a horrible speller and didn't know much about how to write anything so I had to wait until computers came along with their spell check and other helpful items to do anything that others could read. I know that my books have typo's and misspelling in them, my books away for free but I do the best I can I just hope my readers won't be to upset about that and concentrate on the story rather than me not paying attention in English class.
