This short story is one of the most lyrical, touching, wonderfully simple tale I've ever read. It's blunt without being harsh, powerful without being smug, true and lucid without being hopeless. Because yes, these two men hit you like a punch across the chest, but they also swells it with a stubborn hope that will stick to your fingers.

Cute, little slice of life that lingers on the tongue like a sugar pill and wraps like an apple pie. You'll fall in love with this characters in less than two-thousand words. Try to believe.
