Alysa of the Fields, Book One in the Tellings of Xunar-kun Series on July 23, 2012

With this volume, Tina has crafted a world with the richness and intricacies along hte lines of the Pern books. Tina takes us through the trials of a young lady who doesn't feel she fits in with her assigned roles, and we get to watch her expand as she finds what she's meant to do. I didn't want to put this book down when I read it. I know the follow-on volume is also great. I'm looking forward to the thrid volume in the series.
