Jerry Hammer

Biography

Jerry Hammer was born in Brooklyn, New York. He now resides in Greenwich, CT. Mr. Hammer has been a designer, TV Packager, TV producer, Broadway producer, a screenwriter and a sculptor. He is also the recipient of he coveted Peabody award for Biography on TV.

His Broadway credits include "Voices" starring Julie Harris and Richard Kiley, "The Incomparable Max" staring Mr. Kiley, and Off Broadway he produced "Rendezvous with Marlene" based on Marlene Dietrich's life. His movie credits include the producing of "Who Says I Can't Ride a Rainbow" starring Jack Klugman, Norma French and introducing Morgan Freeman and Esther Rolle. His TV shows include "Let Us Entertain You" and "Your Daily Horoscope." He created and packaged game shows such as "Camouflage" which ran for two years on ABC.
