Tiffany Heimer

Biography

Tiffany Heimer is mom to two adorable, energetic boys and a crazy, spoiled Keeshond. She is happily married to the best husband she could ever imagine. She stopped working for a large company in 2014 and began working on The Very Hungry Classroom with her children who were eager test subjects... most days. She spends many hours working with her boys on outlandish Halloween costumes, themed birthday parties, messy art or science play dates or just deciding something sounds fun, let's go try it! When she is not occupied with duct taping cardboard for children, she can be found gardening or organizing another shelf in the home. One of her goal's is to learn to play the harp by 2017.

Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
This is my first book and it was because parents always mentioned wanting something like it. I looked online and could not find anything that had sample school party treats that were not cupcakes or other sugary sweets. Parents often said, "I just don't have time to look online to find great ideas." I made it a project to do with my children. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in testing and creating this book!
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I've worked from home for the past 7 years. I decided to stop working for a large company and work on my own projects. I already had the skill set to work from home, the structure and diligence to finish projects without guidance. I thought, why not?
