Shelley Ledfors


Biography

Shelley Ledfors lives in a small town on the beautiful Oregon coast with her husband, son, their menagerie of goofy Bull Terriers, and a Goffin's Cockatoo.

Shelley's long-standing interest in writing--limited to rare spare moments while caring for elderly parents, and home-schooling her son--has moved to the forefront in recent years, partly as a means to cope with, er, enjoy her husband's retirement.

Her short stories have been published online and in print. One of her novels-in-progress, Dominion, was both runner-up in the 2009 FaithWriters Page Turner contest and finalist in the 2010 American Christian Fiction Writers Genesis contest. Bree's Secret is a 2011 Genesis finalist.

When Shelley emerges from her writing cave, she can be found working on home-improvement projects with her husband, taking photographs, doing diamond-point engraving on granite or glass, or--occasionally--cooking a meal or doing a load of laundry for her long-suffering family.
