I have been friends with John for 13 years. I used to see him and Dale perform when they were at Dollywood. I had the opportunity to meet him in 2000 when I wrote a poem about Osceola. I really enjoyed his book and learning about his life. I didn't want to put it down while I was reading it. It is a must read.
