Irma Louise White

For more than 20 years, Irma suffered with a chronic disease which doctors said she would have to live with for the remainder of her life. She lived in and out of the hospital during that time span. However, during one of her hospitalizations she had a life-changing experience which set her on the path she believes God ordained for her before the foundation of the earth. Until that experience, she was not only sick but always broke and didn’t know how to improve her situation. She believed, like most people, ‘it is what it is’ and it was her destiny – to be sick and broke. Although she grew up hearing about Jesus, she did not know the vital necessity of reading and meditating on the Holy Scriptures. But, after reading Jeremiah 29:11 in a daily devotional, her life began to improve. From that one verse she began her quest for biblical knowledge. She ultimately found a church whose vision is ‘reaching and teaching people how to believe and receive from God on purpose.’ It was there she learned that sickness and poverty were not the will of God for her or anyone else because healing and prosperity are part of God’s plan of redemption. She embraced those biblical truths and received her healing from Crohn’s disease and now passionately shares those and other biblical truths with others.

Irma has taught Evangelism and Holy Spirit and His Gifts at the Faith Impact Bible Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana where she was Valedictorian of her graduating class.

She has one amazing son and two beautiful grandchildren. When she is not writing, teaching or traveling, she is expressing her creativity through her beautiful quilt making.
