Born and raised in small town Northern Ontario, Canada, Carey Decevito has always had a penchant for reading and writing for as long as she can remember.
More than a decade later, with weeks of sleepless nights, where exhaustion had settled in to her everyday existence, she finally gave and put pen to paper (more like fingers to keyboard). She submitted to the dreams that plagued her insomnia. And the rest, as they say, is history!
Carey Decevito enjoys spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, travelling, and playing tourist in Canada’s National Capital region. When life gets crazy, she seeks respite through her writing and reading. If all else fails, she knows there’s never a dull moment with her prolific story-teller of a four-year-old daughter, her goofy husband and their two cats who she swears are out to get her.

As secrets to his dead wife’s betrayal come to light, Ben is faced with the reality that an opportunity to heal stares him straight in the face—albeit, in the form of Hannah. Bonded by similar losses, Ben wonders if there really is such a thing as second chances. Funny how tragedy can bring two people together.
Play Me to Infinity
When Michael Withers relocates to Jacksonville, in an effort to be closer to his sister and her new family, he never imagined finding himself at a crossroads. Taking a chance on happiness might just be worthwhile when it came in the form of a feisty, argumentative, tiny package with tight skirts and an ability to turn any argument into foreplay.
He had it all: women, money, great looks. For all intents and purposes, he was happy or was he? With the door to his past thought closed... another one opens, shifting Jake's world on its axis.
With everything being bountiful in her life, Lacey Flannigan had everything she could ever want. An illustrious career with James & Sons, beauty, a multitude of friends and a financial wealth beyond what she could ever hope for, thanks to her parents.

- The Musher And the Stringer
on June 02, 2014
And they're at it again! This time, Charlotte and Byron manage to heat up the cold.
I have to say that this story was original. I mean, who would have thought about writing a short with regards to a dog-sled racer (musher) and a newspaper columnist chasing the elusive sportsman for a story in order to move up in the world of writing?
Funny, sweet, romantic and geared to celebrate Valentine's Day, you can't help but get a kick out of this couple and their creative and adventurous ways of getting together. What will come next?
- The Maid In The Cupboard
on June 02, 2014
A very short and sexy read that introduces us to Byron and Charlotte, a couple that love to play games. I can honestly say, I'll never think about cupboards the same way again!
- The Knight and the Damsel in Distress
on June 02, 2014
Charlotte and Byron return to play in this old-world charm of a story. In the times of knights and ladies, Lady Charlotte seeks out to meet the neighbor, Sir Byron, a knight who's fought in the Crusades. Her first attempt at meeting the man sends her into a jealous fit where she ends up, for lack of a better description, stuck in the mud, leaving her for Byron to save her.
This story was very well written, utilizing the language of the times. Sweet, romantic, funny and yes, sexy. This couple definitely hits the mark in their habitual roll-playing games, keeping authenticity alive!
