This touching and direct personal essay about a father’s struggle with ageing and alcohol, and reflections on a daughter’s teen pregnancy, was anthologized in Slice Me Some Truth: An Anthology of Canadian creative nonfiction.
This poignant personal essay about the reunion between a birth mother and her son won Event magazine’s creative nonfiction contest and was anthologized in Somebody’s Child.
This collection, the fourth from this award-winning author, is an unsentimental examination of women. Unapologetically Robinson heads straight towards the heart of the most confused characters, making it easy to forgive their flaws and understand their missteps. Her ability to shine an industrial strength fluorescent light on issues rarely discussed openly is nonetheless cathartic. Foreword
