The author has a gift of getting in the character's heads and you instantly relate to them. Even if you haven't been through their experiences, your imagination takes over and you cheer for their triumphs and cry with their losses.

Although this has a "Disney" type of an ending- it is fitting with the whole series and leaves me satisfied. After this story it will be a hunt to find another epic that captures my imagination and heart the way Parkinson had.
