Jack Thompson

Biography

Words and language have always held a fascination for Jack Thompson. He spoke English and French as a child and by the age of five reading had become a passion.

Jack is interested in people and improving the human condition, a theme that shows up frequently in his writing.

Jack's philosophy of writing is simple: “Writing should interest and entertain a reader. It should broaden a reader's horizons, stimulate his imagination and increase his understanding of the world around him. He may find out something about himself he did not previously realize. It should move him emotionally to cry, or to fear, or to be angry, or to laugh. Perhaps, all of the above. And, most of all, the reader should have fun.”

Jack currently lives in Florida with his wife of twenty-five years. Besides writing novels, short stories and poetry, he works as a private tutor.

I read this delightful book and enjoyed it all. The book is informative and insightful. I found myself changing my way of looking at life, and admiring the writer for creating a "cup is full" kind of life despite all. She certainly Creates her life with a capital C. This is certainly a book worth reading. I recommend it.
