I read "Moonhag and the Monster Monkey" with a smile on my face! Janet really has a way with words that children love. This African tale is a great introduction to two of the characters in "Kubuka and the Magic Calabash" - also by Janet. I read this book to my kids as a bedtime story - they thought it was fantastic! One minute they were laughing out loud the next, peeking over the bed covers. The best thing about Janet's stories is that reading them to your kids will entertain you too!
