- The Trio: A Collection of Completely Unrelated Short Stories

The title of this collection says it all, yet it still says so little. Each of the three unrelated stories are very poignant in their own way, demanding different reactions and responses. In one sitting I became an alcoholic, a fallen woman, a remarkably intuitive machine...and a fan of Alyse Bingham. The formatting is beautiful and the writing is well-edited, but Bingham has produced more than a technically solid work. Each tale is wildly different, but in each the writer's voice comes through to create a jarring emotional response. Short stories or long stories, I'll be happy to read them when Alyse Bingham is doing the writing.
