J Calvin Tibbs
Biography
J. Calvin Tibbs is Pastor of Kingdom Dominion Church in Villa Rica, GA, and radio host of Your Place in the Kingdom, a daily radio outreach on WAEC LOVE 860 AM, Atlanta, and on WIGO AM 1570 The Light. Additionally, Tibbs is the author of the book “Jesus Said”, a practical guide to spiritual living and a husband of 27 years.
Prior to establishing Kingdom Dominion Church (KDC), Tibbs served in full time ministry at International Gospel Outreach (IGO) under the leadership of Robin Hancox, an Australia native, for over Sixteen (16) years, and credits this training as a decided advantage for he and wife Kimberly to launch KDC.
Pastor Tibbs strongly believes in the establishment of the Word of God as the cornerstone for discovering one’s personal destiny, and trains believers to connect spiritual gifts with practical living.
A native of Hampton, Virginia, Tibbs received a B.A. in Broadcast Management from Clark College in Atlanta, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army with the rank of Captain. The leadership and logistics background provided through the military, proved invaluable in the formative years of the now 4 year old, 175-member church.
Currently, this Prophetic Outreach to the Nations is poised to expand the Gospel of the Kingdom by Strengthening the Family of God. The ministry is feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and restoring confidence to the battered.
Tibbs has three (3) college age children serving in the ministry, and continues to implement plans to Commission Interactive-Believers in no less than 85 West Georgia cities.
