Jeff White

Biography

I am a husband, a father, and an aspiring writer. I have been married to the love of my life, Tanya, since 1998, and together we have three children. I was born in Elgin, Il in 1973. I have written and self-published three books. “The Means”, an adult drama, was the first I wrote when I was forty years old. “Don’t Count to Ten”, a children's’ fantasy story, followed soon afterward. “There Will Be Blood”, a non-fiction series of short stories or a warning from my childhood misadventures. I am constantly thinking about new subjects to write about, and I am sure more books will follow.

Smashwords Interview

What motivated you to become an indie author?
I had some bits and pieces of a story in my head. I decided to put them together. After finishing the story, I put it away for a year. I didn't know what to do with it. I figured writing was fun and maybe I could do it again, so I put it out there. This is my way of showing myself I am accomplishing something. The extra money would be nice too.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smashwords has given me a structured method of getting my stories out there. I know that my stories have a chance of being read.
